Success story

Prenatal workout

During my first trimester I felt extremely tired, nauseous, had little energy and I did not exercise, because I was afraid that the workouts could harm my unborn baby. I also experienced pain in my pelvis.

Patrick, a certified pre- and postnatal coach, was able to address my concerns. He knows how to guide you and which exercises are safe to do. I also loved how this program offers the complete package: you work on both your body and your mind. This gave me the perfect preparation for the birth of my beautiful daughter.

I had less to no pain during pregnancy and I felt calmer, more comfortable and ready for the delivery. I was even able to continue doing workouts until a few days before my daughter was born.

Thanks to this program, I had a smooth labor and natural delivery, without epidural, resulting in a beautiful, healthy daughter. I can honestly say that I am proud of myself.

Currently my baby is already 12 weeks old and healthy and I am now doing the postnatal program to aim for my previous weight and also to continue to take care of myself. I definitely recommend this prenatal program, you will feel healthier and fitter and you will give your (unborn) baby the best start you can give.

It's essential to consult with your OB/GYN to determine the safety of exercise during pregnancy, as individual circumstances vary. In general, staying physically active is highly encouraged during this time and offers a wide range of benefits for expectant mothers and their unborn babies, for example:
*Improved cardiovascular fitness, preparation for the physical demands of labour and postnatal period,
*Decreased risk of pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia, pregnancy-induced hypertension and gestational diabetes,
*Improved energy levels, sleep, mood and self-esteem,
*Reduced back and pelvic pain,
*And most of all enjoyment.

This is suitable once you have had your 12 week ultrasound.
It is safe and generally recommended to exercise all the way through your pregnancy however due to the higher risk of miscarriage in the first trimester, it is preferred that women are in their second trimester onwards when starting a training program when the risk is considerably reduced.

Prenatal personal training is specifically designed to accommodate the unique needs and changes in a pregnant woman's body. Exercises are modified to ensure safety and comfort, focusing on strengthening core muscles, improving posture, and addressing common discomforts associated with pregnancy.

You need a written clearance letter from your gynecologist before starting any training program and on the pre-exercise screening form you will be asked to confirm that you have communicated with your medical provider/gynecologist that you are attending the training program.
